Murree is under two hours from Islamabad and it is the trip almost every visitor makes, which is exactly why you want a driver for it. The Expressway is quick; the last stretch up to Mall Road is steep, narrow, and in season effectively a car park. Parking in Murree town on a Saturday is a competitive sport, and in December and January the road can close or require chains with very little warning.
