Islamabad to Lahore is the busiest intercity trip we run: business meetings, weddings, airport connections and families moving between the two cities. The M-2 Motorway makes it a straightforward four-hour drive.
One-way or return
- One-way drop — we collect you anywhere in the twin cities and drop you at your address in Lahore, or at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
- Same-day return — common for business: Lahore meetings in the afternoon, back on the motorway by evening.
- Multi-day — the car and driver stay with you in Lahore.
The quote states which of these you have booked, so the driver's return journey is never a surprise.
The drive
From Islamabad the motorway crosses the Salt Range near Kallar Kahar — the only hilly section — then runs flat to Lahore. There are good service areas at Bhera, the most popular stop. Winter fog between December and January can close sections of the motorway in the early morning; we adjust departure times rather than drive in it.
Which car
For one or two passengers a Corolla, Civic or hybrid is comfortable and economical. Executives often choose a Land Cruiser or a premium sedan from the on-request range. Families and wedding parties take a Hiace or Coaster.
